1/2 small Onion finely chopped

200g Pork mince

1/2 tsp Sugar

1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

6 Water chestnuts chopped

1/2 Carrot grated

60 Wonton wrappers
1 pinch MSG (optional)
Cooking oil for deep frying.
Salt to taste

Put the pork mince in a bowl and add the onion, sugar, oyster sauce, water chestnuts, carrot, MSG (optional), prawn stock cube and salt. Mix thoroughly.


Put about 1 teaspoon of the mixture in each wonton wrapper and pull the corners of the wrapper around the mixture.



Deep fry the wontons in batches (depending on the size of your deep frying pot) until they are golden brown.



Serve as a lunchtime snack with sweet chilli sauce.


Note: If you prefer a more healthy alternative you can steam the wontons instead of frying them.
