PORK & TOFU

 

INGREDIENTS

 

150g Pork mince
300g Silken tofu
2 large Banana prawns chopped
2 clove Garlic finely chopped
6 Dried mushrooms soaked and sliced
1 tbsp Soya sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tbsp Thick soya sauce (caramel)
1 tsp Sugar
1 pinch MSG (optional)
3 dashes White pepper
1 tsp Corn flour in 1/3 cup water
2 tbsp Cooking oil
Salt to taste

METHOD

 

 

Soak the dried mushrooms in a cup of hot water until they soften. When soft remove from water (keep this for later) and cut mushrooms into strips.

 

Cut the Tofu into cubes and place on a serving dish

 

 

Heat cooking oil in a fry pan and add garlic. fry until fragrant.

 

 

Add mushrooms

 

 

Add pork mince

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add prawn

 

 

Add oyster sauce.

 

 

Add Thick soya sauce

 

 

Add mushroom water

 

 

Add pepper

 

 

Add corn flour / water mix

 

 

Add MSG (optional)

 

 

Cook until all ingredients are well mixed and the mince is cooked. Pour over the silken Tofu.

 

 

Serve on boiled rice with your choice of vegetable dish.
