PORK SOUP

 

Serves 6

 

INGREDIENTS

 

700g Pork bones

1 Tomato cut into wedges

1/2 Tin canned tomatoes

1 Onion chopped

2 Carrots chopped

1/4 Cabbage chopped

1 tsp Sugar

5 Potatoes peeled

6 cups Water

Salt to taste

METHOD

 

 

 

Heat water in a saucepan

 

 

Add the pork bones

 

 

Add the onions

 

 

Add carrots

 

 

Cover and cook for about 20 minutes

 

 

Add the fresh tomato

 

 

Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until the potatoes are just done. Add salt to taste.
