BEAN & CHILLI PORK

 

INGREDIENTS

 

750g Pork ribs

1 clove Garlic minced

1 Chilli seeded and chopped

1 tbsp Soya sauce

1 tbsp Caramel soya sauce\

1/2 tsp Corn flour in 1/3 cup water

1 pinch MSG (optional)

1 cap Shao xing wine

6 tbsp Cooking oil

 

Marinade

1 tsp Chilli powder

3 tsp Soy bean paste

2 tsp Sugar

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Rice flour

1 clove Garlic crushed

METHOD

 

 

Put the pork ribs in a bowl and add the marinade ingredients.

 

 

Mix well and leave for 2-3 hours in the fridge

 

 

Put cooking oil in a fry pan and cook the pork ribs for about 10 minutes

 

 

Remove the ribs and reduce the oil to about 1/2

 

 

Put in minced garlic

 

 

Add the chopped chilli and stir

 

 

Add the soya sauce

 

 

Add the caramel soya sauce, stir for a minute or so

 

 

Put the meat back in the pan

 

 

Add the corn flour and water mix

 

 

Add the MSG (optional)

 

 

Cover and cook for about 10 minutes

 

 

Add the shao xing wine

 

 

Serve on boiled rice with your choice of vegetable dish.
